CSS DIMENSION

The following properties are used to specify the size (width and height) of an HTML element.

Height: height of an element

Width: width of an element

Their values can be defined in percentage or pixels.

Example in pixels:

height:100px; width:100px;

Example in percentages:

body {height:100%;}

Example of a paragraph with a minimum size of 150px and green:

p{ min-height:150px; background-color:green; }

Example, define a column width to 30% of the total and blue

p { max-width:30%; background-color:blue; }
